Everest 2004: First Irish woman to Summit Mt Everest.
Clare O'Leary will attempt again in Spring 2004 to become the first Irish
woman to Summit Mt Everest. In Spring 2003, she reached over 24,000 feet as
part of an expedition organized by OTT expeditions. Her sub-group by lead by
veteran guide Pat Falvey. Pat will return to lead the expedition once again...
Record numbers of climbers are expected to attempt Everest in 2004. However,
sources tell EverestNews.com, their is much snow on the mountain especially up
high. At least three expeditions have canceled in the last few weeks...
