The Chinese plan to start paving the road to Everest base
camp on the North in the next few weeks. In more ways than one, the Chinese
have been paving many roads on the North side of Everest. From the first cell
phones, to the first live TV feeds from the summit, the Chinese have lead the
way on Everest. Many like to ignore what the Chinese have done, but the facts
are, the Chinese have done it.
From the early English expeditions to expeditions today on
Everest, the Chinese are great at watching, learning, take the knowledge back
home and then doing what others have failed at.
What will a paved road to Everest bring?
