This is Scott Patch providing an update on the Summit Climb 2013 Cho Oyo
ascent. We have been at ABC camp for the last several days. We are all eating
well and feeling healthy. We spent today on the ice tentacles below ABC
practicing ascending and abseiling (rappelling) down the ice. It was a
beautiful day here; nothing but blue skies and just a few light clouds rolling
in this afternoon.
Tomorrow we are heading to Camp One, and then returning to ABC camp for more
rest before heading back up the mountain.
