Summit Climb is proud to be spearheading the Mt. Everest Foundation for
Sustainable Development. One step being taken to ensure future Everest
climbing teams, an engineering and architecture team is preparing to set off
from Kathmandu to trek up into the Khumbu Valley to measure and draw a site
plan of the famous www.DebocheConvent.org where 20 nuns live in seclusion at
Nepal's oldest nunnery. This venue is just a few kilometres/miles from Everest
herself. The engineers and architects will also conduct a site study for the
www.MtEverestBiogasProject.org , which will treat all of the human waste from
Everest basecamp and convert it into useful cooking gas and farm fertilizer.
