just 3400m/11,100ft & a lovely forest walk.
Now in Kote Village, picturesque log cabin hamlet in hemlock rhododhendron
forest on Honku river. 2nite Richard's delicious birthday dinner.

Reached Chetra village 4100m/13,500ft. Sunny & warm here below the snowline.
Today's trek was ideal: high peaks, passes, views, warm sun.
We are on the Chetra La pass, 4600m / 14,800ft. This is one of the 3 high
passes on the Mera Baruntse trek/climb & its a beautiful day!

to Lukla. Thanks to brilliant logistics by our Ktm office, everyone & all bags
arrived ok. Weather horrible.
