Changes from yesterday:
Henry Todd's group and the
other British commercial group has turned around.
Team Honda headed to camp 4 on the
South Col. Two small Korean teams are said to be moving to camp 4 on the South
Col also. The Czechs are down and going home.
Four Friends To Climb Everest For A Cure
(Apa Sherpa Again!!) are down. Asian Trekking independent climbers
plus more independents
and their Sherpas are moving to Camp 4. (Dirk
Stephan and Keith Woodhouse are assumed at this point to be with them,.
but that is NOT confirmed.
Waldemar Niclevicz, and
Pemberton have turned around along with others. No news from
- Lhotse International Expedition 2005 leader Dan Mazur who was sitting in the
cat bird's seat at camp 2, watching the action. (Dan you might notice never
reports or comments on other teams..)
German LEIPZIG team
announced they were moving on to join in the summit push.
The American, up there
somewhere is Scott Wazny with his 2 sherpa Phur Gayljen Sherpa and Ang
Pemba Sherpa. Any information on these climbers would be much appreciated as
they don't have a sat phone..
