Korea YCAC Everest and Roche
May 20, our members arrived
safe safely to camp 4 of Mt. Everest and Roche. Members are tired and takes a
rest. Attempt attack after earnest prayers to recover perfectly condition.
Decided that enforce at the 21 day evening at the same time delaying top
attack of Mt. Everest and Roche a day. Try safely after recover perfectly
condition of earnest prayers. It is mind that desire success. Normalcy attack
visual point acted perform a day. Pray with members who wait for an
opportunity losing sleep at base until late time that succeed certainly 22. -
Korea Yang Chung Expedition Team general MR. Jeong gi beom in Mt. Everest
Update 5/21/2005: A group of the Korean attempted the
summit! We are told they have turned back around the balcony. (The ropes also
end around the Balcony). We have no idea why they turned around, nor can we
confirm at this time that they all turned around. It is unknown at this time
if others attempted with them.
However, Mr Honda has arrived at Camp 4 at midnight. Other
Koreans are said to have arrived at Camp 4 at around 11pm (on the 20th).
Unclear if any of these climbers attempted or if they stayed at camp 4.

Changes from yesterday:
Henry Todd's group and the
other British commercial group has turned around.
Team Honda headed to camp 4 on the
South Col. Two small Korean teams are said to be moving to camp 4 on the South
Col also. The Czechs are down and going home.
Four Friends To Climb Everest For A Cure
(Apa Sherpa Again!!) are down. Asian Trekking independent climbers
plus more independents
and their Sherpas are moving to Camp 4. (Dirk
Stephan and Keith Woodhouse are assumed at this point to be with them,.
but that is NOT confirmed.
Waldemar Niclevicz, and
Pemberton have turned around along with others. No news from
- Lhotse International Expedition 2005 leader Dan Mazur who was sitting in the
cat bird's seat at camp 2, watching the action. (Dan you might notice never
reports or comments on other teams..)
German LEIPZIG team
announced they were moving on to join in the summit push.
The American, up there
somewhere is Scott Wazny with his 2 sherpa Phur Gayljen Sherpa and Ang
Pemba Sherpa. Any information on these climbers would be much appreciated as
they don't have a sat phone..
