Everest 2005: Mallory and Irvine The Final Chapter: "it is very possible to go that way staying on the ridge"

The last two teams have filmed or taken photographs and have now descended. The route on the ridge (above the climbers in the picture above) was investigated and the climbers believe "it is very possible to go that way staying on the ridge."  "There is a shoulder on the Kangshung side". The climbers were excited about possible finds in the film. We will need to study their work this summer. We had only a few minutes with them on the sat phone. We will get more details as they return from the mountain and we study the film.

We return to Mount Everest in search of an answer.
