2005 South side: Taking the Copter down to Kathmandu for a drink and a swim.
On the lighter side...
Unreliable sources report that one Everest expedition on the south side of
Everest has taken the copter down to Yak and Yeti for a drink, a swim and some
good food. [Unclear if they buzzed the Summit on the way down.] It sounds as
if the rich client did not want to walk down lower below base camp, so they
ordered the helicopter!
The wind is expected to be high until at least Friday the
13th. It is clear this commercial expedition won't go first to break trail.
