We take opportunity to inform that the Indian Army Mt.
Dhaulagiri Expedition has climbed the peak successfully on 08th May
2009 at 11.30am Nepal standard time. Starting late yesterday from the
Dhaulagiri Summit Camp under the leadership of Mr. CN Boudh and 5 Indian
Climbers and Mr. Dawa Chhiri Sherpa and 3 Sherpas of Nepal total of 10
climbers reached to the summit today at 11.30am following North East Col
traditional route. They are also planning to send the 2nd team of 6
Climbing Members & 4 Climbing Sherpas.
The expedition team is organized by Gateway to the
Himalaya & Arun Trekking & Expedition, Company based in Kathmandu, Nepal
