21st May 2009, Arun Expeditions team made summit on Mt.
Makalu (8463m) 12.00 mid day.
Mr. Mick Parker of Australia and Mr. Roland Stuart Hunter of
UK successfully made summit of Mt. Makalu today 12.00 mid day without Climbing
Sherpa support and using Oxygen.
Both of them is experienced mountaineers, have done several
mountaineering expedition in Nepal Himalayas with Karakorum in Pakistan. At
moment, they are descending to lower camps and planning to fly for KTM 28th
They have started their expedition from KTM on 28th March
flying to Tumlingtar and trek towards to the Base Camp.
